Oh, this reminds me... totally different style, but some friends of mine made snowmen.... all you need is snow, a few rocks and twigs and some ketchup. (some of the snowmen were wounded). It was all meant to just remind people of the student council election... but it kinda got out of hand for them... in a Calvin and Hobbes sort of way. For instance, there was a Snow mama with a snowbaby on a shopping cart... obliviously driving over/through a slightly older snowkid on the ground (wheel tracks, splatter of ketchup). I'm sure there were some having sex too, but that didn't impress me as much. There were groups like that of more or less bizarre snowmen all over campus... the student council got a leetle bit upset and decided snowmen were not furthering the cause and to please remove the signs about the election from the snowmen... they sure got everybody's attention though.
1) Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't reindeers like regular deers have different sized antlers depending on their sex? If so, shouldn't the mountee have smaller antlers than the mounterrrr? lol! Also, if that IS the case..does that mean that these reindeers are either A- gay or B- Mama is doing something very, very dirty to Papa? HAHA.
2) Soooo.. contingent upon either A or B that would also probably elicit the following concerns:
If Papa reindeer is in fact having gay sex..does Mama know? ..And does Rudolph really wanna play those kind of reindeer games?? Does Papa have a prenup- because.. ouch! That could be a nasty one in court.... ;)
Or. If Mama is "servicing Papa" could this be construde as incest if Rudolph is watching? Does Mama then, have a Dom. fetish? Could this possibly be reason enough to gather that maybe having a red nose was not the only reason little Rudolph left to live with the "misfit toys??"
LMAO!

But, ya know.. maybe the angles are all wrong..and it is Mr. and Mrs. just having a little game of "tickle monster" ... no worries Ruddie dear..Mommy's not hurt.. she's just cactching her breathe from laughing so hard ;P
teehee! Just... you know... since you said to correct you if you were wrong... (and I'm a biologist... I really can't help it...) *clears throat, puts on glasses* In reindeer: "Both sexes grow antlers,[7]
which (in the Scandinavian variety) for old males fall off in December,
for young males in the early spring, and for females, summer." (says wikipedia)
- So actually an older (Scandinavian) mr Reindeer would have no antlers for christmas... whereas the girls and younger guys all have.. even the first year calves have antlers.. Seems the Alaskan caribou males loose theirs in january instead...
Reindeer are the only deer where the females have antlers... I was told they use the antlers to scrape through snow and ice to find food and that's why they are so important that even the females and calves bother with them... but I can't find a reference for it... the pages I did find say it's for social dominance in the herd... (UAF reindeer fact sheet)
- oh, and they only have sex in fall obviously... during the rut in august and september...
I hope this cleared up some of the questions you were posing about what's going on in the above picture...
